I am requesting headphones for our classroom iPads. Most of our students come to school without many (or any) supplies, including headphones which are needed on a daily basis. We have many (free and purchased) online educational programs to help our students get math and reading practice. When iPads do not have headphones, it gets too noisy in the classroom and it is distracting to the other students trying to learn. Headphones will improve my classroom because in order to be able to access the online educational programs, students must be able to hear the online program and use computers without distracting others.
