Heartfelt greetings donor. Maybury Elementary School is a Neighborhood-Centered school, with highly motivated students. It is truly a joy instructing them. The school, built in 1909, is one of Detroit's top 20 best performing elementary schools. But much of the equipment allotted for classroom use is technically and functionally obsolete. The classroom is in need of a new document camera. The model to be purchased is an Epson DC-21. The cost is $579.00, as advertised on Amazon's website. That model will provide continuity and compatibility with the classroom's Epson projector that is already in use.
A donation of any amount would be welcomed and appreciated by the school's administration, students, and me. Your donation will aid in preparing future scientists, engineers, doctors, astronauts, astronomers, geologists, etc. These are just a few of the professions that require well educated students.
