We have a diverse population, seventy-five percent of of which fall under the socioeconomically disadvantaged. We are also a Program Improvement school and have been one for six plus years now. Through the years we've had to make some drastic changes to our school to try to improve our student success rate. Nowadays,many of our students are required to take two periods of both language arts and math courses to help them in their studies, which leaves little room for electives. Because we have such a dedicated staff, we organize after school clubs and events to give them something to look forward to.
