In our classroom of multiply disabled students, we incorporate music in almost everything we do. I get to spend my day with the best group of kids. Most of my students are non-verbal. They absolutely love music and making music. Music is part of our morning meeting, our fine motor sensory circuit and our gross motor sensory circuit. Each student has their favorite instruments. We have some musical instruments, but they are old and falling apart. I would love them to have new instruments to help them make the sounds they love.
