This year, our district has adopted a new language arts program. We have access to all new big books and posters to the students. With no easel in the classroom, it's hard for students to see and interact with the books.
With a new easel the students will be able to come up and help me locate long vowel blends, sight words, parts of speech, and punctuation. I'll be able to make anchor charts for math and language arts right on the easel, and then store them behind. Students will be able to both see the proper materials and will be able to interact with them as well.
