If granted my students will be introduced to a whole new exciting way of learning. I plan to use Chromebooks in order to convert my classroom over to a Google Classroom. With a Google Classroom, I can give my students immediate feedback and redirect them if necessary before an assignment is turned in. My student will get immediate feed back of scores. I will be able to comment on a child's progress as he or she is creating a technology based project. Students will be able to work at their own pace. If a student is shy or nonverbal as some of mine are, he or she can ask a question or comment through a message.
My students will create many technology based projects. They will create slides, documents, forms, and graphs related to data that they collect in science class. A world of information will be at the hands of the students in my class with Chromebooks. Now days our state mandated tests are computer based so there's not a better way to prepare them not only for the state tests but more importantly for life in general. I actually need 24 Chromebooks but because of the limit I am only requesting 11.
