My classroom is made up of beautiful culturally and ethnically diverse black and brown students who come from urban neighborhoods that all too often lack necessary resources required to ensure safe and healthy environments for children to live in and learn. Nevertheless, they come to school everyday with a innate love of learning and a sincere desire to make the world a better place for themselves and others. Because of their resilient spirit, I am proud to be an educator in my community and hope to be one for many years to come!
