We are a Title I school with approximately 51% of our 500 students in kindergarten through second grade receiving free or reduced lunch. In today's society, students are motivated by technology. However, many of my students don't have access to this technology at home so the exposure they receive at school is even more vital in order to keep up with current trends. We have a limited amount of technology in our school. Our classroom has four computers and one Chromebook for my twenty students. We use these devices as much as possible in all subject areas throughout the day. Many students are only able to access them twice a week for about twenty five minutes. Recently our math assessments were converted to online tests. One set of twenty Chromebooks must be shared with sixteen classes in order for all students to complete the online assessments.
