Students come to us with so many unique interests, strengths, and needs. In order to really customize a learning experience for each of them it is necessary to team with other educators and group students based on interests, strengths, and needs. This insures that our learners get an experience that moves them forward by challenging them, but not defeating them. It allows them to work at a pace that is just right for them and have a true grasp of skills before moving on.
Unfortunately, our school wasn't built for this kind of flexibility so our students have to travel from room to room to make it happen. Since students aren't sitting in a single spot or even a single room all day, they have to take their projects, learning activities, and goal sheets with them.
In a system with so many moving parts, organization is key. These pocket folders are great at keeping the kiddos organized and mobile.
