I teach an enthusiastic group of Urban Kindergarten students who come from single parent, low social-economic backgrounds. My public school students read at various reading levels, but have a strong desire to read. From picture books to comics my kids are willing to absorb and travel to various areas around the world whether real or imaginary. My challenge is simple, we need technology to help us sail, take flight, see new sights and learn new words. Kindle Fires ignite the desire to become lifelong book loving readers
