These items will help students improve their reading skills by giving them new books in the classroom library. Books that are interesting to 5th-graders, and current, instead of old books. Also, the book in this project have a variety of reading levels allowing high-level readers to advance their reading skills, struggling readers to grow their reading skills, and every level in between to develop a love of reading. Additionally, the translators will help my students with low English levels, because they will be able to have my instructions translated for them in real-time. Finally, there are some items to help with emotional learning and fill in the gaps that COVID has created in their reading abilities.
