My students live an inner city environment. The poverty rate is very high, and school is their one chance to learn music. We have many special needs students. They are wonderful children, but almost all lack any accessibility to instruments. They are very motivated by music, and often tell me it is their favorite class! I am asked by students on a daily basis "When are we going to get instruments?" Through Donors Choose I am hoping that their dreams will come true.
