The calculators I am in search of will help support the Math students at our school. They will have to use these calculators all year, in class, to prepare them for the Common Core Math standards per grades. Although we live in a digital world where calculators can be found online, the state tests in April will not allow for this. The kids need to be taught how to use the calculator, how to use it to show work and transfer that work to paper.
Practicing with the necessary materials during the year will set these students up for success. They deserve the opportunity to show what they can accomplish when given necessary materials to practice with.
