My third grade class of 23 students come from families of low socio-economic backgrounds with families that have a primary language other than English. The majority of my students are English learners but they are all enthusiastic learners. My students strive their best everyday to immerse themselves in reading, explore their creativity with writing and art, investigate inquiries in science, and build on their critical thinking and problem solving skills in math even when they face the challenge of limited access to all the needed materials to achieve academic success.
