Support Ms. Ackerman's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
As my students return to in person learning, they will need supports transitioning back into in-person learning and a new normal. Due to COVID protocols, our fifth graders will be learning in one of the largest spaces in the building. This former, spacious art room is rife with opportunity and the potential to be the inviting, resource rich, learning environment my students will need to grow. This is why I need your help. The classroom furniture and seating listed in this project will support me to build and create this learning environment for my students. The colorful bin storage will help me to store and provide resources and books for students in an organized and inviting way. The bean bag (flexible seating option) will support me to build a more collaborative environment for my fifth grade students who miss discussing their ideas with their classmates. The easel will allow myself and my co-teacher to teach in small groups in order to meet the diverse learning needs of our students.
