I say it loud and proud. My 4th graders are from Detroit! Why am I so proud? Because our school district is heading in a new direction. We're moving fast and feriously in a positive and productive direction that is taking my hard working, eager to learn students straight to a bright future. Although living and learning in an urban area can present some challenges, my students are proud to be Detroiters and I am extremely proud to be their teacher. There's no place else we'd rather be.
