I am an elementary school teacher and I work in a very low-income neighborhood in the Trenton, New Jersey Public School District. The majority of my students live at or below the poverty level and receive subsidized lunches. My job is so rewarding! Everyday I get to see the excitement and amazement my students express as they learn and experience new things. Even though they don't have much, they appreciate every little thing.
