As a veteran teacher who has taught in an urban setting my entire career, I've learned over the years to provide my students choices in their education in order to maximize their learning potential. These choices begin with providing flexible seating so they feel more comfortable. By providing more options for my students, they take more ownership in their learning and are mire eager to learn. Please help me provide my students flexible seating options such as wobble cushions, floor seats and balance balls to maximize their independent working time throughout the school day which reflect their learning style. I've lowered some tables, provided comfy reading corners, lamps, books and have various small group settings on the carpet and at small tables. More choices of spaces to choose from will keep learning time more focused for each individual student and will maximize their potential.
