My school is a public Early Childhood Center in rural South Carolina. My students come from a high poverty area with over 80% of the school receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Our school teaches students using the Montessori method. In my classroom I have 25 students between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. They are extremely interested in all things science, especially life cycles of different animals and insects.
