My project is asking for funding for innovative seating; inflated balls for children who need to move, yoga mats for those who need to stretch out, lap desks and floor pillows for freedom to move and collaborate, and so on! I have tested a things on certain students, and their achievement level improved immediately! My kids are genuinely excited about this awesome opportunity! Expecting students to sit perfectly still ALL DAY is a big challenge, but with flexible seating, students are able to learn in their own way. This seating will allow students to work together collaboratively, which leads to self directed learning.
