The AHS Yearbook Journalism class is in need of new Chromebooks to use for the creation of the 2017-2018 PANTHER yearbook. Memories made with friends last a life-time; unfortunately, the technology that our Yearbook Journalism class uses to create the yearbook does not. In a school climate where technology is relied upon more and more, the yearbook students need this tech in order to effectively create and publish this product for their fellow classmates, teachers, and community.
Students in Yearbook Journalism aren't just taking snapshots - they're learning business-world practices while learning to work and create with passion. The PANTHER yearbook isn't just a yearbook; it's a chance for the community to support their local schools. Yearbook Journalism students actively engage with local businesses to sell advertisement space in the book and collect ad art. Using the chromebooks, students will create pages of memories as well as business ads that support the community as a whole.
