My students don't often have the opportunity to enjoy LEGO building projects. These items will help them to collaborate and practice design process skills. LEGOs teach various soft skills that will shape the way students work and interact with others. These soft skills include creative thinking, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving strategies. LEGOs are good for the brain because they build concentration span. The more a child is immersed and 鈥渓ost鈥 in an activity, the more a child's ability to focus develops. My students would greatly benefit from the use of LEGOs.
