I currently have 21 students in my classroom. I love teaching Kindergarten because they love to learn and everything is new to them. We use computers for centers in Math and Reading. I only have 3 student computers so the mini iPads would help as some of my groups have 4 or 5 students in them. If provided, these mini iPads would help my classroom function more efficiently. I would be able to send all of my students to the technology center at one time. It would also provide the students with additional time as I would not have to divide the time the students are at this center. The students love using technology and are eager to learn. They are little sponges. I believe that if a solid foundation isn't provided in Kindergarten the student will be behind. It will be difficult to catch up. Kindergarten students are able to read, add and subtract, and write sentences at the end of the school year. It is amazing to see what they can do!
