My students will be using all materials in a pull out small group setting. These students are most successful with multimodal learning approaches such as sensory activities and technology. These materials will also be used as earned privileges for completing work.
My goal is to provide my students with engaging activities to increase motivation and enjoyment of learning.
I will use the Osmo and Kindle as a work center while targeting individual student goals. This work center will enhance their learning by being an engaging and empowering independent work opportunity. The slant boards will be used to help students with fine motor needs, become more successful in their writing. The white boards will be used during small group work across all subjects. These boards offer visual guides for students to form legible handwriting. The sand kit will primarily be used by students with sensory needs as an instructional tool. The calendar pocket chart will be used to teach important functional math skills and will act as a visual support for students.
