I want to integrate technology and language arts, all while increasing enthusiasm for reading!
We have a wonderful library, but I want to be a true MEDIA CENTER by integrating technology and literature. With the iPad minis, we could create and use QR codes to access student book reviews. We could create book trailers, and we could dramatize favorite books, and share it with others through technology. And with all of the use they will surely be getting, we need some durable cases to protect them.
There are students who struggle believing that they are readers. They are more comfortable in the technology world. 'Watching' or reading about a book recommended to them by their peers will be more effective in getting them in the books. This in turn will increase their interest and ability. I believe that every student is a reader. Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.
