I believe that the blankets and a snack will be more that my students.
Some students are living or experiencing situations that only one can imagine. I would like to help my students by giving them a warm blanket and a snack to take with them when they are going home. Many of my students are not going to a home they are displace or families are experiencing difficulties that do impact my students. A blanket and a snack gives my friends a moment to not worry about the adults situations. Many times we just don't know nor never would imagine what students are dealing with after school. Some students are not able to focus on learning because he/she may be in a difficult situation that is out of their control.
I would like to make a difference, and additionally put a smile on their face.
For kids we have to remember how the little things mattered.
