Sometime reading from a textbook can be dry and boring. I purchased these interactive materials to keep students interested and engaged in the material. When students interact with their assignments and lessons they are more likely to retain the information. In order to successfully deliver these lessons, students will need journals to put their work in and scissors to cut out each lesson.
Interactive Notebooks allow students the opportunity to receive the information in a hands-on way, where the students are more likely to remember the information for years to come.
The curriculum I purchased has a variety of articles and lessons where students highlight, take notes, create visuals, and more that directly align with our social studies curriculum. By donating to our project students will have the opportunity to step away from the book and interact with their learning in a whole new way.
