This carpet allows each student to have their own spot, as well as allows everyone a comfortable seat for group activities like morning meetings, read alouds, or independent reading time! Our current carpet is much too small for my class of 26, leaving students either in desks or sitting on the tile instead.
This carpet will help foster our classroom community as we create a space for everyone to learn and grow together. A sizeable carpet big enough for all my students will help increase cooperation, engagement, and comfort during our time together this school year.
