I have seventeen students in my class. All students are at different entry levels, with academics and social aspects. Some students don't know how to cut, hold a pencil or write letters. While others have never been away from home or recognize alphabet letters. The kids are very loving and want to come to school everyday. They are eager to learn and want to succeed. Kindergarten students thrive on using manipulatives and fun learning tools. My school is a Title 1 school, which is a low economic status school. The students main education comes from school and what I provide them with.
Kindergarten is the foundation of school and allowing them to learn in a way they enjoy and want to come to school.
