I have an amazing group of kids this year. As first year middle school students, they are starting to come out of their shells and formulate their personalities. I have never had a more genuine group of students. They come into my classroom excited to greet me and tell me what is going on in their world.
Our school is made up of mostly bilingual learners where English is not their primary language. We are located in a very low income area and our school provides free breakfast as well as free or reduced lunches.
My students work very hard in class to improve their English language skills. Whether it is working in groups, writing stories, or learning new grammar skills, my students always find a way to have fun while learning!
