In my Title 1 classroom, I have a very diverse group of students. At my school there are 26 different languages spoken. Many of these students often live in poverty, so the only access they have to books is at school. Often, they don't have a positive relationship with reading because they see it as work. I try to work hard with them to unlock a love of reading and help them to see the many worlds they can explore through books.
