Teaching literacy through creative projects and theater. Ms. Edwards teaches English and English as a second language. Students learn and gain confidence by engaging in hands-on exercises and projects, students collaborate and create visual media and presentations as well as scripts for theater. In this way, students have the opportunity to learn real-life skills, gain speaking confidence and more importantly, improve literacy.
