I teach a classroom for students with multiple disabilities.
My students are ages 3-8. They have several challenges including medical needs. Everyday they amaze me with their strength, joy, and work ethic. I have three Teacher Assistants who help in multiple ways with our students. I like to say our classroom is filled with love, laughter, learning, and lots of fun! One of the things I love most about my job is the progress our students make. I also very much enjoy working with the families of my students. I try to support them in multiple ways, sometimes just by simply listening to them. I like them to know they have a friendly face to visit with anytime and to advocate for their child. Every week, the students learn new things, and it is simply incredible to see the growth of our students.
