I proudly teach at a K-8 (Title 1) Dual Immersion School. Our vision is to develop children into bilingual, bi-literate, and multicultural students who are prepared to participate in a 21st century global economy. Indeed, throughout the day, every day, I encourage my fifth graders to communicate, collaborate, be critical thinkers, be creative, and care for others.
I have taught for 11 years. I love to see when a student has an "aha moment" and the smile that comes with it. I also enjoy seeing the sense of pride that children develop once they complete a project or achieve one of their academic goals.
