I have the privilege of teaching and learning from some very bright children. They are always eager to learn and ready to be challenged. They love to read and collaborate on projects. My goal this year is to build up my classroom library with more high-interest non-fiction and fiction books and supply my students with materials needed for projects that relate to our Common Core units of study. Most of my students have difficult home lives and come from a low income household. 98% of my students are English Leaners, with little to no access of materials and resources. Even with their hardships, the moment they enter my classroom they are safe and eager to learn!
