My students are fun loving, hard working, motivated, and unique children who are all working to meet their individual goals on a daily basis. Our school is a Title I school, meaning that the majority of the students are at risk of failure and living at or near the poverty level.
Our school has very limited technology, and the majority of my students do not have access to technology at home. Therefore they can not take advantage of the many online resources and apps available for their individual educational needs.
Having this background knowledge about my students and our school population encourages me to do everything I can in order to bring technology into my classroom in order to engage my students in learning on all levels.
