My students learn best with hands on learning activities. They require significant levels of repetition along with multiple opportunities to practice. Over the past year, my students have not been able to learn in the normal school setting with classroom tools that support hands on learning. Last year I created laminated worksheets that could be used at home and during virtual instruction.
I want my students to have new activities that grab and keep their attention while supporting their learning needs. The items that I am requesting are engaging and can be used for 1-1 instruction and group work.
The Lakeshore Instant Learning Centers for Beginning, Middle and Ending Sounds will be great for my students during phonics instruction with it's bright colors and pictures. The Launch and Learn Games will be fun to play while they are learning. The Magnetic Sight Word Sentence Set will help my students engage in the process of creating sentences while learning their sight words. I'm really excited about the Magic Boards and the Printing Practice Boards to support their writing skills. The kids are going to love the Counting With Me Talking Cooking Jar to help practice counting.
The Instant Learning Math Activities will meet a variety of their skill deficits and provide hands on learning also. Their fine motor skills will be supported with the Easy Twist Animal Builders and the Ready to Write Color Sorting Kit. These items will truly make a difference to my students and their
