Do you remember the first time you discovered your favorite book and how it made you feel? Did you have a favorite place to read? Having a comfortable Reading area to hang out in while reading independently will help my students get "lost" in books. We need a beautiful classroom area reading rug. Reading can take them to far away places they've never been to before. It could inspire them to do things or be someone they never thought possible. It will help them learn all about the world around them. My wish for my students is to become lifelong readers. Reading can be magical and I want them to experience that for themselves.
