Many of my students have limited access to the technology they interact with within their respective homes. Given the time we live in, technology has become such a backbone for our students' learning. Currently, my kids are limited to an old Elmo Projector with extremely poor lighting. As a result, some of my students in the back of the classroom have trouble seeing the board. This Apple TV will be an extreme help in our classroom.
Given an Apple TV, I'd be able to project my iPad and demonstrate to all my kids what I'm doing with brightness and clarity. I will be able to walk around the classroom while I am instructing my students. It will also allow students to share, display their work and explain their thinking to their classmates right from their seats. This is crucial, especially now with COVID guidelines restricting movements within the classroom.
Lastly, my kids' participation will increase exponentially due to them sharing their work and their very own stories with their classmates with Apple's Airplay feature.
