I teach English, Spanish, and Journalism at the high school level. All of my students come my class for the purpose of become better communicators, whether it is in their native language or a new language. My students come from diverse backgrounds. They come from a mix of urban and rural households in California's San Joaquin Valley. Many students come from bilingual and minority families. Our school has a 100% free lunch program, due to the economic needs of most of our households.
