My Resource students attend an Arts Magnet Elementary school where 98% of the students are on the free or reduced lunch program. Agriculture is the primary local commerce. There are approximately 520 students on our campus. Our students are thirsty for new information, always wanting to learn more and taking pride in their successes.
My Resource students are in 4th and 5th grade. Each of my Resource students is working very hard to master a modified version of their grade level curriculum, and without all of the necessary tools they need for success. These Resource students are creative and willing to try new methods to reach their personal IEP language arts and math goals. Most of their parents do not speak or read English and cannot help them academically at home.
