In the heart of East Oakland, I teach powerful students that bring laughter, love, and life into the classroom. Predominately serving Latinx/Chicano/a and African American students, we learn a full account of history and grow our minds and identities simultaneously. I learn as much from my students as they learn from me. My classroom is opening and welcome to all LGBTQIA+students and the intersecting identities that come with race, class, religion, culture, etc. Your support is guaranteed to touch the lives of hundreds of students.
