My students are 3 to 5 year old preschool students with special needs. I am a new teacher and currently have 17 students in my class. Not all the students come everyday. I can have anywhere from 10-12 students in my class at one time. My students all have a different eligibility and have different support services. We give support in Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Vision Impairment, Intensive Behavior Instruction, Adapted P.E. and more in a preschool setting.
My classroom is placed on a great campus where we provide great support to all students attending. Our school is a Title 1 school and most of our children on campus have free or reduce breakfast and lunch. About 95% of our families at our school are low income and we help to insure that all children meet the challenging state academic standards.
