My students are 6th graders from the South Bronx who are amazing! When we get them in 6th grade many have experienced so many educational challenges! However, everyday our school is a happy place in which silent hallways, uniforms, consistency and routine allow our students to feel safe and a be a part of a culture of learning that says that they matter. My students are funny, inquisitive, and work really hard. My school is one of my favorite places in the Bronx and we make sure that while we have our kids- we give them all we got! My students deserve every single opportunity so that they can be successful and make their own choices!

About my class
