At our school we have two Kindergarten dual language classes. These students are being immersed into two languages by being taught half of their time in English and half of their time in Spanish. As the school's media coordinator I have kids come into the library each day needing and wanting bilingual books that they can read with their parents. Our school has about 80% of students on free and reduced lunch and many of them do not have access to books at home.
