My scholars have used Flocabulary and BrainPOP in the previous school year, and it was a wonderful media platform to increase their levels of engagement in all subject areas. Now, more than ever, my fourth-graders need these resources to maintain engagement and meet their diverse learning needs for remote and in-person learning.
Flocabulary meets the needs of my scholars that are musically diverse and enjoy rap music. Listening to vocabulary, in a rap format, will bring the vocabulary words into context. BrainPOP provides educational videos in all academic areas, and scholars benefit from the use of visuals and visualizations, scholar-friendly videos, and interactive activities. In fourth-grade, these two resources will keep all students engaged on both remotely and in-person learning .
