I work at a charter school in the Las Vegas area. My school is high performing in the state of Nevada which draws a lot of attention from the community. In Las Vegas, we are in one of the most diverse areas in the country which brings great happiness, yet also brings challenges. At my school, we do not choose the students, but the students and their families choose us. We are always looking for the best things to bring into our school.
I teach fourth grade and the students in my room are bright, humorous, kind, and crave knowledge. They love to teach others and to create projects. I am constantly in search of ways to challenge them, which is why I am always searching for ways to bring in technology.
