Please provide my students with the opportunity to have a Spanish speaking curator from a local museum to engage, explore and learn about history through interactive hands-on activities about the past.
My pre-k students will have the opportunity to have a museum experience.
This amazing experience will help broaden my students' knowledge and understanding of history and immerse them in hands-on science materials.
Students will learn about history and the world around them. Students will be engaged in the study of replicas of museum artifacts, paintings, and documents that will spark their curiosity, creativity and promote cultural understanding. Students will be invited to work collaboratively to find answers to history鈥檚 big questions. In the process, they will develop their critical and historical thinking skills and expand their understanding of the collective past. This will be a fun introduction to history using objects, images, role play, and craft-making.
