Within my classroom the student population is diverse ranging from 92% Hispanic, 5% Caucasian and 3% African American. The student's I encounter are kind, polite and always willing to lend a helping hand to their peers. My neighborhood school is located in the heart of a large urban city. 99% of my students receive reduced or free lunch. Although, my students are impoverished they come to school eager, and ready to learn.

About my class
