My school is located in a high needs neighborhood. Students are working hard to master their Math skills and memorize important multiplication and division facts. As the year progresses, the Math will become more difficult for them and they will begin to utilize calculators more often.
My students are very hard workers, but they get frustrated when a problem takes them longer than their peers who are using calculators to check their work. The use of technology will help my students to focus on their own mastery by assisting them in completion of their work.
